High-ish budget blockbuster Alien vs. Trevor Francis has smashed box office records by achieving the best ever opening weekend for a sci-fi horror soccer spin-off movie.
The film shows the adventures of former footballing forward Trevor Francis (Birmingham, Forest, Man City, Sampdoria, Atlanta, Rangers, QPR, Sheffield Wednesday, England) as he battles against the mighty Alien (Alien, Aliens, Alien3, Alien Resurrection, AvP, AvP2).
The film is more astonishing as producer/director/writer Michael BayLeaf (43) suffers from severe learning difficulties and has the mental age of an 8 year old. He described the aims of the production at a recent press conference.
“the aliens have killed all the people so they go back in time and find someone to help them fight the aliens so they get Trevor Francis and he goes forward in time with them and it seems the aliens can’t kill Trevor Francis so he is beating them and it turns out that the aliens can’t kill him because he accidentally created them in the past from a super tracksuit so if they kill him they won’t exist and it all goes boom with explosions”
Alien vs. Trevor Francis at cinemas nationwide now. Rated 12A.
